The street in Bad Tölz painted in an expressively realistic way is shining with glowing colors, the cast shadows are creating a deep and rich contrast. Running to the left the tapered street gives the picture deepness. Red roofs against partially tree-covered green hills with two white church steeples, bright little clouds against the light-blue sky convey the cheerful atmosphere of the neat health resort, that Anna Neubauer, the artist´s mother, already loved. Accompanied by the composer Carl Orff she promenaded through the beautiful spa gardens.
