This work was created immediately after the years of the war. Manifold shades of blue and green convey the impression of a peaceful country. The lake rests still, variegated by white reflections of light which apparently are a reflection of the clouds in the light-blue sky. A red roof under a huge deep-green foliage tree creates a counterpart to the dark-bluish peaks of the Alps running in diagonal direction. At the horizon on the right the landscape peters out into the deepness of the space. A view that invites to stay.
