The nocturne with the number 1 using intensely glowing blue probably refers to Emil Nolde´s expressive landscapes. There is no description of details, the subject remains simplified, the expressive colorfulness is dominating in its chord of blue, green and yellow. Black contours and a mystically shining moon half covered by clouds intensify the mystic dark deepness of the night. Just one smoking chimney probably promises human vicinity.
