A tribute to van Gogh? The flaming sunflowers depicted in an expressive way seem to burn up against a flaring yellow sky. A third little bloom hangs withered and lifeless from its stem. Next to a massive larder pot there is a glass bottle whose inside seems to form a virtual room. The windows whose reflection is caught in the bottle with the incident light whose reflections appear on the floor seem to give the jar an additional dimension. A red table cloth with red and yellow fruits gives the room deepness.
