Claudia Schweizer née Neubauer

Born in 1943 Claudia Schweizer as a child still experienced the post war period fully aware of the life amid of the ruins of the Nuremberg Old City as well as its reconstruction which took decades. Ruins, mountains of rubble, deep pits and huge cranes dominated the Old City. As a bilingual secretary she had the chance to live in Teheran/Iran, Managua/Nicaragua and Tripoli/Libya from 1974 to 1983 and to study the art and cultural history of these regions. In 1987 she took over the furniture store Neubauer Ltd. as managing partner as well as a designer and interior designer.
