Gradually Friedrich Neubauer transforms the city setting into a convertible picture (page 194). The resulting possibilities of views are almost unlimited because any of the bars can be combined with any other of the bars painted bilaterally. This way the architect as a city planner can make his visions visible as well as change them at any time. A convertible picture with fourteen bilaterally painted bars offers incredible sixteen thousand three hundred and eighty-four views. This un_believable number of possibilities would otherwise not have been representable at that time without a computer within a very short time.
