“Spiritual” - that is what Friedrich Neubauer notes on the back of this picture. Although it was also created in the festival summer in Salzburg the artistic expression is different. Instead of whirring shades colors and forms seem to flow towards a focus. Deep black against shaded reds seem to stream towards the center of the picture. At the bottom on the right a black cross is indicated standing under a blood-red sun. However, this interpretation is left to the eye of the beholder.
