Friedrich Neubauer arranged forms and colors in an exciting way in this picture filled with tension. Black and yellow tools seem to interact with each other against a background painted in colors from white to blue which pretends to be from punched metal. The arrangement of the single elements creates a three-dimensional spatial effect. This picture already points towards the works of a world dominated by machines which the artist created later.
